Can I get a quotation over the phone sight unseen for my wedding adjustments?
NO, due to the large variety of styles and fabrics it makes it difficult to price, as every dress needs to be assessed individually.
Are the consultations free?
Due to the time wedding dress consultations take to address personal needs, I do not offer free consultations.
What is the cost for consultations?
A $50 consultation fee applies to all Wedding Gown Alteration appointments.
This is non-refundable and non-redeemable.
Payable prior via Bank transfer to secure booking.
Why do you charge a fee?
A fee is charged based on being able to advise you of the best alteration you will need, whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
This is backed with 35 years’ experience.
Wedding dresses are designed and made with more complicated patterns. Modifications and manipulations of these dresses require high level of pattern and design knowledge, along with expertise in sewing and the latest machinery required to do the bridal alterations.
What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
If cancellation is made prior to 48 hours, then another rescheduled appointment will be made. If cancellation is within 48 hours, then consultation fee is FORTFIETED, and a new appointment made with additional $50 fee to secure booking. All cancellations within 48 hours incur a $50 cancellation fee.
All CANCELLATIONS OUTSIDE OF BUSINESS HOURS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS PART OF THE 48 HOUR NOTICE PERIOD
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
You will need SHOES, LINGERIE and HAIR TIE.
What happens if I’m running late?
Lateness will use your allocated booking time hence shortening the time for the consultation. At 15 minutes late, appointment will be cancelled and an additional $50 to secure another appointment.
What happens if I forget to bring my shoes to my appointment?
Appointment will be terminated, as it is a requirement to bring items along, thus requiring another appointment with a further $50 booking fee.
Can I bring friends and family along?
It is recommended to bring only 1-2 people who are directly involved in the wedding, due to the Space restrictions.
How can I make payment for my bridal alterations?
Eftpos, Cash or Bank Transfer to be paid upon final fitting and collection. There is a 1.1% surcharge on all Eftpos transactions.
No payment is required until collection.
Can you do my wedding dress alterations urgently as my wedding date has changed to an earlier time.
Depending on the current workload, urgent repairs and alterations can be done. This will incur a higher fee.

How long is the consultation for?
Bridal appointments are allocated 45 minutes for assessment and quotation. Should you decide to go ahead with the quotation, some alterations may occur within this time frame, or another appointment will need to be booked which will not incur additional fees.
How long do the wedding dress alterations take?
Generally, turnaround time is within 2 weeks. Whilst this cannot be guaranteed as the current workload and complexity of your dress will determine the time frame. An estimated time will be given in the initial consultation.

ON PREMISES TO FEED CHILDREN. APPOINTMENT WILL BE TERMINATED.
All Wedding Dresses need to be collected within 2 weeks of completion, otherwise a storage fee of $10 per day will apply beyond 2 weeks of your notification.
